Stooshe say TLC "love" their cover of 'Waterfalls'

Girl group Stooshe have confessed that TLC respect their cover version of 'Waterfalls', which Lily Allen recently slammed, and "love" what they did with the classic track.

Speaking to Britain's The Sun newspaper, the ladies explained that they met a member of the popular trio, named T-Boz, and she praised their rendition of it:

"We are huge fans and have met T-Boz, who told us she loved our version. It's meeting heroes like that that spurs us on, and we have the most loyal of fans."

Stooshe also opened up about turning down a contract with Simon Cowell's label Syco and explained that he wanted a lot of creative control, which they weren't willing to give:

"We wanted creative control. We didn't want to be changed or moulded into something we're not, and we couldn't come to an agreement. But we still respect him. There wasn't any fall-out."
