Little Mix aiming for chart domination

Little Mix want to be the "biggest girl band in the world".

The four piece - comprising Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall - were the first group entry to win in X Factor history during its eighth series last year.

The girl group - who are currently enjoying success with their debut album DNA - are now aiming for chart domination.

Pinnock revealed: “I want us to be the biggest girl band in the world. You’ve got to aim high. I’d like to achieve that within three years.”

Little Mix are looking to former X Factor contestants One Direction for inspiration. The hugely successful boyband - comprising Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Niall Horan - are currently riding high at the top of the charts with their second studio album, and Edwards says this is something to aspire to.

The singer - who is dating One Direction member Malik - told We Love Pop magazine: “One Direction have kind of opened the gates for everyone else, hopefully. We’ll see.”
