Dappy trial witness admits to "send him down" tweet

A key witness in Dappy's assault trial has admitting sending tweets claiming that she will send the rapper "down".

The N-Dubz man is currently on trial on a number of assault and affray charges relating to a brawl which allegedly ensued at a petrol station in Surrey in February last year.

He is alleged to have spat in the direction of Grace Cochran and Serena Burton before a fight kicked off involving a number of men.

The court has heard that Cochran had previously received a tweet saying "Send the **** down", to which she replied: "Ha ha ha in the process."

Burton meanwhile admitted to sending a tweet which said she would "bulls*t" in the trial because she didn't remember exactly what happened.

Further tweets allege that the pair discussed "getting rich" as a result of the case and its resulting media coverage, although they claim it was a joke.

The trial continues.
