James Franco apologises for Justin Bieber spoof video

James Franco has apologised for making a video that poked fun at Justin Bieber.

The actor posted online a video of himself and actress Ashley Benson giving a comedic tribute to the Canadian's 'Boyfriend' video.

Speaking at the Sundance Film Festival, Franco apologised for the video, which saw him lip-syncing to the track.

He previously revealed that he removed the clip from his WhoSay website after "some people" asked him to delete it. Franco said:

"I was asked to take it down by some people. Bieber didn't contact me, but I don't think he was too happy. I wasn't trying to diss him".
