Emma Bunton is "devastated" after her dog is found: 'It's terrible news'

Spice Girls star Emma Bunton has revealed that her beloved pet dog has finally been found, but unfortunately it was "terrible news" that has left her heartbroken.

She informed her Twitter followers that her brown labrador, named Phoebe, had gone missing earlier this week and asked fans in the relevant area to keep an eye out for her.

On Monday, February 4, Bunton wrote: "My gorgeous brown Labrador went missing on daily walk, she will be so scared please look out around east barnet, Hadley wood, Trent park. Her name is phoebe!! She is so gentle, please look out for her."

The singer and radio presenter returned to the social networking site earlier today (February 6) and explained that Phoebe has been found, and while she didn't explain what had happened to the dog her message confirmed the worst:

"To all the amazing people who supported us at this horrible time Our precious phoebe has been found and its terrible news, we are devastated."

She added: "A huge thank you to our amazing community, friends and http://www.doglost.co.uk  you have been an amazing support. @doglost thank you."
