Earlier this week, Black Eyed Peas beauty Fergie announced that she is expecting her first baby with husband Josh Duhamel.

The Hollywood actor told Yahoo! OMG that he can't wait to become a father and has always been great with kids, so is very much looking forward to this next exciting chapter in his life:

"It's very exciting. Seeing that ultrasound is unlike anything you've ever seen. You're like, 'Wow, it's mine'. I think that I've always had an affinity for kids. There's something about me and kids that just clicks. I don't know if it's because I am a kid, but it does prepare you whenever you're around them."

Duhamel added that while he has plenty of younger family members, nothing can prepare you for having your own baby: "I've got nieces and nephews and all my friends have kids. All that stuff is a learning experience for when it actually happens, but I don't think you're ever truly prepared until it's your own."

On February 20, he tweeted: "What a week! #SafeHaven premiered, I'm going to be a dad & 400k are following me. Great moment in my life. Glad you're along for the ride!"
