Spice Girls' 'Stop' voted best girl band song of the past 15 years

A new poll conducted online has shown that 'Stop' by the Spice Girls is the most popular hit released by a girl group of the past 15 years.

Around 7,000 music fans voted in the poll, which was set up by Amazepop, and the girl power leaders beat tough competition from the likes of Girls Aloud, Destiny's Child and TLC to get to No.1.

Girls Aloud's 'The Promise' is right behind at No.2, Spice Girls return to the list at 3 with 'Goodbye', and Little Mix's single 'Wings' came in at No.10, making them the newest act to feature on the list.

Pop sensations Girls Aloud were included an impressive 4 times and their other tracks that made appearances are 'Sound of the Underground', 'Biology', and 'Call The Shots'.
