Earlier this year, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler co-hosted the 2013 Golden Globes where they poked fun at Taylor Swift's love life during their opening monologue.

The comedic pair advised Swift to stay away from Michael J. Fox's teenage son and also joked that she should take "some me time" before dating anyone else.

The 'I Knew You Were Trouble' beauty hinted that she was disappointed about being the brunt of the joke in a new interview with Vanity Fair and Amy Poehler has since apologised for any hurt caused.

Tina Fey has now spoken about her awards ceremony comments and told Entertainment Tonight: "If anyone was going to get mad at us, I thought it would be James Cameron. I did not see that one coming. It was a joke. It was a light-hearted joke."
