Robin Thicke scores number one single

Robin Thicke’s ‘Blurred Lines’ featuring Pharrell Williams and TI has debuted at the No. 1 spot in the singles chart.

Last week’s top single, ‘La La La’ by Naughty Boy and Sam Smith slips one spot to No. 2. Daft Punk’s ‘Get Lucky’ has also fallen one place to No. 3.

This week’s top ten sees a new entry from Jessie J with ‘Wild’ featuring Big Sean and Dizzee Rascal straight in at No. 5.

Elsewhere in the top ten Demi Levato’s ‘Heart Attck’ rose one position to reach No. 10, ‘We Own It (Fast and Furious)’ by 2 Chainz and Wiz Khalifa down three to No. 9 , Rudimental’s previous chart topper ‘Waiting All Night’ at No. 8, ‘Can’t Hold Us’ by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis down three to No. 7 and Olly Murs’ ‘Dear Darlin’’ up three places to No. 6

Other fresh chart entries come courtesy of Bruno Mars’ ‘Treasure’ at No. 35, Stylo G’s ‘Soundbwoy’ at No. 18 and Jennifer Lopez and Pitbull’s ‘Live It Up’ at No. 17.

Chart climbers come from Of Monsters And Men’s ‘Little Talks’ leaping up 28 places to No. 13, Paramore’s ‘Still Into You’ up two places to No. 15, Bruno Mars’ ‘When I Was Your Man’ up two to No. 23 and ‘Thrift Shop’ by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis up four places to No. 25.
