Little Mix continue US takeover with GMA performance

Little Mix continued their US takeover today (June 7) as they took to the stage on Good Morning America.

The former 'X Factor' UK champions - comprising Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock - performed hits from their debut album 'DNA' for the Summer Concert Series in New York City hosted by the popular ABC series.

The group were joined by US 'X Factor' contestants Emblem3, who posed alongside the girls for pictures on stage.

Little Mix are enjoying huge success in America after their debut album hit No.4 in the US charts. The impressive chart position means the group are the highest ever charting British female band in the US with a debut album.

The previous record was held by the Spice Girls, who saw their first album 'Spice' enter the US chart at No.6 in 1997.

Speaking to Billboard recently, Nelson admitted that she is surprised at the amount of fans they have over the pond. She said: "Just seeing the amount of fans that we actually have [in the US] is so overwhelming. When we go to our signings, it's crazy - we feel like Justin Bieber when we go."

She added: "It's crazy, and we've never felt like that before, and it's just amazing."
