Singer Jamie Cullum has revealed that he recently fulfilled a lifelong ambition by creating a magazine that he hopes to launch by "the end of the summer".

In a series of Twitter posts uploaded to the popular social networking site earlier this evening (June 21), Cullum explained that he is currently working on the publication and also wants fans to submit short stories to possibly be included:

"I am making a magazine. It's been a dream of mine to put together a unique publication full of writing and things that I love. I am working with some talented old friends to put this together. We should have it ready by the end of the summer. It's very exciting."

He added: "I want to have one of your short stories in the magazine!"

Cullum included a link to the submissions page, which explains: "Write a short story for our competition and the winner will be printed in Jamie’s new magazine. Your story can be about anything you want – but there are some rules."
