Lawson's Andy Brown talks writing for One Direction

Lawson frontman Andy Brown has revealed his pessimism at the chances of One Direction using one of his songs.

As previously reported, the British musician recently stated that he had penned tracks for the 'Kiss You' stars, as well as former X Factor contestants Union J.

There is no guarantee, however, that the groups will use the tracks - and that is something Brown is most definitely aware of. He told the Daily Star:

"I might have a song on hold for One Direction which would be amazing. It’s called Who We Are and hopefully they are going to vocal it. It’s great for your CV and if it ends up being a single you’re rolling in it. You are talking millions.

“But it’s like throwing sh*t at the wall and hoping it sticks. 1D have so many people writing songs for them I’m not going to splash the cash just yet."

Other famous musicians to have successfully written for One Direction in the past include the likes of Ed Sheeran and McFly's Tom Fletcher.
