Pop songstress Rita Ora and her best friend, supermodel Cara Delevingne, have hit back at press rumours that suggest they have fallen out.

The pair were photographed together consistently throughout the earlier part of this year, but have both been busy with their own projects lately and a joint performance at a London event, which saw Delevingne jump onto the stage with the 'Shine Ya Light' beauty, sparked speculation about the strength of their friendship.

Writing on her Twitter page on July 21, Ora told her followers that they haven't had a bust up and are as close as ever: "I don't know what all these stupid stories are about but Im always going to have my best friend @Caradelevingne I love you!"

Upon seeing the message, Delevingne replied: "It's mad @RitaOra the press will say whatever they want but they will never really know. They should start writing science fiction novels! X"
