UK based rapper Tinie Tempah is due to take the stage at this year's MOBO Awards on October 19 in London.

He will perform at the star-studded ceremony, which will be held at the newly built SSE Hydro in Glasgow, later this autumn and explained in a brief statement that he is extremely honoured to have been invited:

"So excited to be back at the MOBO Awards performing brand new music! It's an award ceremony that's very important to me and one of the first that really embraced my work as an artist. Bring on October 19th!”

CEO & Founder of MOBO, Kanya King, added: "This year is our coming of age and we’re ecstatic to be bringing back a wealth of our MOBO music acts which we’ve supported over the years. Tinie always brings the fire when he performs, get ready for a blistering show!”

Earlier this year, Tempah revealed that his sophomore album, entitled 'Demonstration', should be released in September and it includes collaborations with the likes of Pharrell Williams and Dizzee Rascal.
