Simon Webbe becomes latest Blue star to go bankrupt

Blue singer Simon Webbe has declared himself bankrupt despite releasing a new album this year and touring Europe.

And the news comes only weeks after bandmate Duncan James similarly became broke.

Webbe applied for bankruptcy on September 25 and the news has just come to light.

A third Blue member, Anthony Costa, previously also spoke out about his financial difficulties earlier this year.

The pop group released their fourth album 'Roulette' in April and the record reached No.13 in the UK.

They have been touring Europe this year and the quartet are scheduled to perform over twenty shows in Britain in October and November.

Blue were inactive between 2006-2010 but they have reformed in recent years, with a cameo on ITV's Big Reunion series hitting screens earlier this year.

They also represented the UK in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2011, but their track 'I Can' came 11th overall with 100 points.
