Miley Cyrus has accidentally revealed that she has been named number one in Maxim magazine’s Hot 100 list.

Although Maxim is yet to announce the list, Cyrus took to Twitter to inform her followers that the magazine had crowned her their sexiest woman of the year.

The former Hannah Montana star tweeted: ''Didn't know this was coming out yet! I'm so happy to be #1 on Maxims HOT 100! #myfanskickass #dreamsdocometrue''.

She also went on to illustrate the news with an image taken from her Maxim photoshoot. She posted a picture on Twitter showing the singer posing in a gold swimsuit (see picture below). Her Instagram followers were also treated to the same photo along with the caption: “My 1st Instagram is dedicated to all my fans ❤ thank you for crowning me #1Maxim Hot 100.”

Maxim’s annual Hot 100 list is a countdown of the world’s most beautiful women. Last year’s list was headed up by model Bar Refaeli.

Maxim are yet to comment on Cyrus’ revelations.
