Professor Green unveils new video, defends rap music

After taking on a journalist for criticising rap music in wake of the London riots, Professor Green released his video for 'At Your Inconvenience'.

Paul Routledge, a journalist for the Daily Mirror wrote: "In the end only a change of culture, and the way these kids see the world about them, will work. I would ban the broadcasting of poisonous rap, and urge - require, even - schools to teach that the world is a much better place without pointless rage."

Green immediately hit back on his Twitter page: "Paul Routledge is an absolute moron. An absolute fucking moron. Yea ban rap music, silence our voices even more. Ignorant prick. Surely this isn't about shifting the blame, but accepting responsibility? Neither my music or that of my peers is to blame for society and its faults. We didn't create the tiers."

The video is the second single and the title track off the new album, which is set to drop in October. Green is said to be collaborating with Fink and Emeli Sande.

The 25-year-old rapper, from Hackney in East London, had been due to begin touring in October but will now kick off the tour in November due to a late release date on his new album.
