Jarvis Cocker plays an acoustic set at his old school

Jarvis Cocker returned to his old secondary school in Sheffield to return an old library book that he had for over 30 years and took the time to perform an acoustic set for the staff and students.

The Pulp frontman played a set of his band's hits and told his audience that the City School was where it all started:

"It was this school hall that saw the first performance of Pulp in March 1980, the tickets costing 20p promised 30 minutes of live Pulp, which was pretty good value really".

Pulp just finished up their reunion tour and at a show at Electric Picnic in Ireland, they hinted that they would no longer be touring together.
