Brandon Flowers prefers The Killers to his solo career

Brandon Flowers, frontman for The Killers, performed a solo set at T in the Park over the weekend and explained that he prefers playing with his band than as an independent artist.

The 'Crossfire' singer told the NME that nothing compares to working with The Killers and he will never forget that:

"The Killers are always my band, and it’s what I would prefer to be doing. We’ve made an impact, so that’s the outlet to do something. We want to do great things.”

He added that songwriting can be a challenge now that he's established himself as a solo artist because he has to determine where to place the tracks:

"There’s this new strange balance now. When I write a song now, it’s open to interpretation, whether it’s gonna be a Killers track or a solo track and I’ll certainly run it by The Killers and see if it flies or not. I’ve always got songs floating around.”
