Nathan James Sykes from The Wanted has revealed that the band made friends with newbies, One Direction, after meeting them on the X Factor.

In fact, One Direction's Niall Horan, is his new BBM buddy.

Sykes said: "It's going to be a great year for boybands. One Direction are great, we got on well with them when we met them on X Factor. I'm actually BBM buddies with Niall."

Sykes believes One Direction will have success but "they will be big but not bigger than us".
