Sexy boyband The Wanted have revealed that their goal for 2012 is to perform at the Olympic Games. 

Speaking to Capital FM, the 'Lightning' superstars explained that it would be an honour to represent their country at the London Olympics next year and when asked if they would consider playing live to sporting crowds at the event, they said:

"Yeah! That would be cool? Can you arrange that? It would be wicked!"

Nathan Sykes also joked that he fancies competing in one of the water based sports: "I'm joining the synchronised swimming team."

The lads have also agreed to be Olympic Torch bearers later this week (December 8) in partnership with Coke Zone and posted a photograph of themselves holding the iconic torch on their official Twitter page earlier today, December 6.
