The Wanted have revealed how they feel sorry for Britney Spears because they believe she has become bored with fame.

The ‘Chasing The Sun’ stars, who recently admitted the pop icon charmed them during an encounter in the US, told Top Of The Pops magazine that the pressures of being in the public eye may have taken their toll on the star.  

Tom said: “Britney's beautiful and a nice girl, but when we met her, I expected her to have more personality. I feel sorry for her cos she's had a lot of stress in the last five years, and she's done so much from a young age.

“I guess it's the same with Nathan. He started young and I'm sure in 10 years, if we're still going, he's going to be like, 'When is this going to end?'''

The 23-year-old, who this week continued his feud with Christina Aguilera during a radio interview, went on to claim that being in the music industry isn’t always fun and games:

“Fame has its benefits, but it definitely has its negatives, too - like the amount of hours you have to work. Plus, everyone thinks I get to hang around with celebrities all day long, but it's not all it's cracked up to be. I wouldn't change things for the world though - I just love doing music.''
