Boyband The Wanted have revealed that football superstar David Beckham smashed his go kart into the back of one of their vehicles at a birthday event.

The 'Chasing The Sun' lads performed at Beckham's son Romeo's tenth birthday party recently and they recalled how after their set they took to the tracks for some racing, but it got a little bit competitive.
Kaneswaran told TMZ.com:

"We're flying on the go-karts and suddenly I get a massive smash in my car. But seeing David Beckham flying by my car [afterward], I'm not even upset - it's David Beckham!"

Tom Parker then joked it was probably his fault for hitting Beckham's car first: "I probably shouldn't have hit up the rear [of David's car]. David and Victoria are very competitive."

Earlier today (September 7), their new single debuted on British radio and was met with a fantastic reception by fans.
