Nathan Sykes: 'I'm really quite shy mostly and lack confidence'

Former The Wanted member Nathan Sykes has revealed that he sometimes struggles with shyness.

During a new interview with Fiasco magazine, the heartthrob admitted that his new single was written as a way to communicate something to someone he knows because he's bad at doing that in person:

“I wrote ‘Over and Over Again’ to tell someone how I really feel about them, because I’m really bad at doing it in person. I’m really quite shy most of the time, maybe 80% of the time I lack confidence talking to ‘some’ people.”

When asked about possible future collaborations, the singer admitted that he wants to take people by surprise with what he plans to do musically: “I like to surprise people, I think I’d really like to do a collab with a dance producer like a Disclosure…I think it would be a really cool departure."

Sykes's new single 'Over And Over Again' is due to be released on November 20 and the album will be out next year.
