Nathan Sykes has encouraged his fans to avoid setting themselves barriers and limits.

The singer told Fuse that he has managed to carve out a career in music because he has believed in himself.

Sykes said: "The only person stopping you from doing what you want to do in life is you, up there.

"The reason I've been able to do what I love throughout my life so far is that I haven't set myself any limits.

"And I'd encourage anyone to believe in themselves and believe that you can do what you love to do."

The Brit meanwhile is due to release his debut solo album later this year.

It will feature the hit single 'Over and Over Again'.
