One Direction have treated fans to another new song.

The boyband have premiered 'End of the Day' as the latest cut from upcoming album 'Made in the A.M.'.

It follows on from the likes of 'History' and 'Infinity', as well as lead single 'Drag Me Down'.

The record will be released on November 13 - the same day as chart rival Justin Bieber unleashes his album 'Purpose'.

The group will plug the studio effort with their first ever appearance on BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge on Thursday (November 12).

One Direction, however, will not be touring their fifth record.

Instead, the group will go on a previously announced hiatus to recharge their batteries.

Singer Liam Payne recently revealed that he plans to delve further into songwriting and music publishing during the break.

Louis Tomlinson meanwhile has previously spoken of his desire to do more charity work.
