'Blurred Lines' hitmaker Pharrell Williams has revealed that he chooses to stay out of the spotlight because it causes nothing but trouble.

Speaking to the latest edition of UK Vogue, the superstar explained that he shies away from the club scene that other celebrities often indulge in as he prefers the quiet life: "I don't have a social life. Because what is that but drama?"

Williams also spoke out about his phenomenal workload and how he manages his business ventures alongside both producing music and recording it with various artists, adding that he doesn't let things like that get to him because it's all unnecessary stress:

"I never feel anxious about anything. Why would I? If I felt anxious or put pressure on myself then nothing would be fun."
