The Vamps tell all about dating and their female fans

Heartthrob James McVey has confessed that he struggles to date as a member of the band because he's always on the road and has a crazy schedule.

During a revealing new interview with the Daily Star, the lads opened up about their love lives and crushes, and member James McVey confessed that having thousands of female fans is great although it can be a little overwhelming:

"It's nice that we have fans, and most of them are female. Sometimes it's a bit overwhelming but mostly it's just nice. We've all had relationships but because we were so busy it's impossible for any of us to have girlfriends so we're all single at the moment."

Guitarist McVey added that he was in a long-term relationship, but his commitment to music made it really difficult to maintain the connection:

"I was in a relationship for about four years but it was just so hard. None of us wanted to break up with our girlfriends but it was just too hard. Having a girlfriend wouldn't be a good idea at the moment so I'm not really looking for one."

"It's even hard to have friendships with people I've known for like 15 years because I'm always away. I have a lot of close friends at home who our at uni and I'd like to visit but it's difficult. But we're all friends in the band so at least we've got each other (sic)."
