Tinie Tempah calls for curriculum change: 'People learn in so many different ways'

'Frisky' superstar Tinie Tempah has revealed that he thinks the curriculum in British schools needs a shake-up as so many people take on information in different ways that one teaching method can't be effective for everyone.

During an interview with the NME, in which he was asked what he would change if he could be the Prime Minister for the day, the 'Written In The Stars' hitmaker explained that now he's older he can see how differently people pick up skills so it would be great to embrace that:

"This is probably the most important and my most passionate thing... extra-curricular activity at school and different ways of learning. I went to a really good school and the teachers were very passionate. But growing up, I feel that people learn in different ways and in order to get a generation of multi-faceted people who think differently... there has to be more option in the curriculum."

"We should also get more mentors in the schools that have done so many different things; lots of people who work behind-the-scenes. Our generation is obsessed with fame and fortune, and celebrity. Not knowing there are so many people who work behind-the-scenes and make that work..."

Tinie then added: "I'd love to implement more schemes and things people can do in their own time. Places where people can go that are safe. It seems that in this day and age people can't even go to a public park without being scared."
