Coldplay's Chris Martin: 'I couldn't collaborate with Ariana Grande'

'Magic' singer Chris Martin, of Coldplay fame, has revealed that a duet with a female singer might not be something that happens in the near future.

He previously collaborated with Rihanna on 'Princess Of China' and told KIIS-FM that he loves Ariana Grande's voice, but is too intimidated by her ability as a singer to work with her. He explained to Ryan Seacrest:

"I would man, but she can sing so much better than me. I don’t want to be humiliated in that fashion. I was in the car yesterday and ‘Problem‘ was on, I was like, ‘I just can’t do that.’”

He also teased that Coldplay are starting to work on new material, but there are no plans in place to move things along quickly so they're just taking creativity as it comes: “We are starting [to] work on some other songs, and you know, that kind of thing.”
