Example overwhelmed with excitement ahead of tonight's O2 Arena gig

UK hitmaker Example is set to headline London's O2 Arena later this evening and revealed that it's an opportunity he's been waiting for his whole life.

The 'Changed The Way You Kiss Me' star will perform a live set tonight (April 27) at the capital's O2 Arena and back in June 2011, he explained to the BBC that his ultimate goal was to headline a venue as large as Wembley Stadium.

Writing on social networking site Twitter this afternoon, Example shared his feelings about the impending show and joked that it'll be hard to keep his excitement at bay until he gets on stage:

"The day has finally arrived. Sold Out O2 Arena. Gonna be hard to pretend I'm not overly excited for the rest of the day. See some of u later."

Example has a busy summer ahead of him, which includes appearances at European and UK festivals alike, and will also perform at Capital FM's Summertime Ball on June 9.
