Madonna on being a parent: 'I'm always very worried'

Superstar Madonna has revealed that she always worries about her 18-year-old daughter Lourdes and goes out of her way to make sure the teen is taking good care of herself.

The Queen of Pop confessed that she is a very 'worried' mother and likes to make sure everything is taken care of. She explained to 'Today' that when her Lourdes went off to college she panicked about the little things she might not have remembered to take with her:

"I'm very, you know, worried. 'Are you OK? Are you getting enough sleep? Are you eating right?' You know, I set up a humidifier in her room with eucalyptus oil. I was worried about the fact that she didn't have enough towels, Q-tips, you know."

The 'Living For Love' sensation went on to add that she has warned her daughter away from taking drugs and hopes that she makes smart decisions when she's out partying:

"I'm not a fan of taking drugs, but I'm not gonna tell my daughter not to do things. I'm just telling her to be careful. [I tell her] never take a drink that you haven't seen somebody pour in front of you. Don't mix alcohol. Your basics, like be safe, do everything in moderation. That's it. That's all I can do."
