Madonna has announced her new single will be called "Beautiful Game".

It's the Queen of Pop's first new single for over three years. Her last studio album was 2015's Rebel Heart. 

The iconic star uploaded artwork onto Instagram and tagged longtime collaborator, Mirwais. Mirwais worked with the superstar on 2009's Music and 2003's American Life. 

The artwork features a religious vibe, with the star donning what appears to be a thorny crown and an etched halo around it. 

Having sold more than 300 million records worldwide, Madonna is still recognized as one of the best-selling female recording artists of all time. According to Billboard, Madonna is also the most successful solo act on its Hot 100 singles chart and second overall behind the Beatles. She is also the highest-grossing solo touring artist of all time, selling over $1.4 billion in concert tickets.
