Alicia Keys has announced details of her UK arena tour, which will kick off next May.

The 'Girl On Fire' songstress will headline six dates across all the major cities of the UK, starting at Liverpool's Echo Arena on May 18 before making her way through Newcastle, Manchester, Birmingham, and Nottingham.

The hotly-anticipated run of shows will conclude at the O2 Arena in London on May 30.

The tour will support Keys' fifth studio album 'Girl On Fire', which is released next Monday.

Keys revealed that she's excited taking to the stage throughout the UK, explaining:

"This album has been a labour of love and full of new beginnings, new perspectives and fresh starts. I'm so excited to be touring again and it's great to be back in the UK. I'm looking forward to performing and feeling the energy of the crowd - there's nothing like it."

Tickets will go on sale from this Friday, November 23 at 9am.
