Ariana Grande has admitted that she is confused by people who think she is "sexy".

The 20-year-old US pop star is in an industry where looks often in the limelight, but she told Complex magazine that she doesn't want to dress provactively.

The 'Almost Is Never Enough' lady added that she never thinks that she is an attractive property to onlookers. The singer - who is dating The Wanted's Nathan Sykes - said:

"I don't see myself as sexy. And I'm not comfortable being sexy and dressing sexy. I don't see myself ever becoming a sex symbol."

She added: "I don't feel comfortable flaunting my body that much yet. I don't need to do that to show I'm grown up. I don't want people to talk about my choices or how little I'm wearing. I just want the conversation to be about the music and what I'm creating."

Grande meanwhile has revealed on Twitter that she is going to release a song every week from November 19 in the countdown to Christmas.

Her first track will be a cover of Wham!'s classic 'Last Christmas'.
