Billie Eilish Partners With Gucci For Limited-Edition Vinyl
Billie Eilish has teamed up with fashion house Gucci for a limited-edition vinyl version of her Happier Than Ever album.
The Grammy-winner revealed on Thursday (Dec. 2) that the eco-friendly set will be accompanied with Gucci-branded nail stickers designed by the brand’s creative director Alessandro Michele, and vinyl created from recycled vinyl scraps. Gucci have revealed that the stickers "celebrate house emblems through the GG monogram and lettering in multiple shades and styles."
The collector’s edition is on sale now at various Gucci stores in London, Paris, Berlin, Milan, Beverly Hills, Wooster (New York), Sydney (Australia), Osaka and Tokyo (Japan).
Earlier this week, the acclaimed 19-year-old singer-songwriter was named PETA’s 2021 Person of the Year for "championing animal rights, never staying silent about injustice, and using her influence to push the fashion industry to recognize that cruelty is never in style." Eilish is the youngest person to ever receive PETA’s Person of the Year honor.
She also revealed during the fifth edition of Vanity Fair's annual 'Same Interview' Q&A, which she started in 2017, that getting designer Oscar de la Renta to stop using fur has so far been one of the highlights of her career.
