Demi Lovato shares behind-the-scenes footage from new video

Songstress Demi Lovato has finally unleashed the behind-the-scenes footage from her 'Cool For The Summer' music video shoot.

In this new video, which runs at just over 1 minute and 20 seconds, the beauty can be seen getting styled for the shoot and doing different takes while the song plays in the background.

Earlier this week, the superstar confirmed that the next single to be taken from her highly anticipated new album 'Confident', which is due to be released on October 16, is the title track.

She also shared the single's artwork with her Twitter followers, which can be seen above and to the left. Lovato recently told Heat magazine that her move into skimpier new outfits should be seen as empowering because she is finally comfortable enough in her own skin to embrace how she looks:

"I wanted to show you can survive an eating disorder and have the confidence to show yourself. For me to say all that, then go onstage in layers and sweat - I was miserable. I was hot, but I didn't want to show my arms. For someone who's preached about body image, to go onstage [on tour last September] in head-to-toe clothing, that was a sign of somebody that was not totally secure with their body. I wasn't happy with my body image and part of me preaching was me trying to convince myself."
