'X Factor USA' judge Demi Lovato has revealed that she will kick off the new year by taking a month off work, but joked that she doesn't know what to do with all of her new-found free time. 

The superstar will head out on a full U.S. tour in support of her new album, 'DEMI', later this spring and told her followers on Twitter that in order to prepare for her upcoming hectic schedule she will be stepping out of the spotlight for a few weeks:

"Really anxious for the new year. So many things I want to work on...."

She then added: "Taking the month off.... Kind of... What am I gonna do?!!!?????!??"

Earlier today (January 2), she reminded her fans just how normal she really is by confessing that she was out in public looking a little less than the perfection magazine covers tend to show her in: "No makeup... Pimple... Still haven't brushed my hair since the performance last night.... Why am I out in public?!! #2014"
