Excitement Builds For Release of Meghan Trainor's New Song 'Nice To Meet Ya' & Album "Treat Myself"

Excitement is building as Meghan Trainor is not only set to release her new single Nice To Meet Ya (ft. Nicki Minaj) tomorrow on Friday, January 31, but also her eagerly awaited third studio album, Treat Myself.

Last week on January 22, the GRAMMY Award-winning singer-songwriter released nearly all of the tracklist of the 15 songs. She had previously teased fans by cleverly using emojis to keep them guessing.

Featuring on Trainor's new album tracklist are a host of special guests, including Mike SabathAJ Mitchell Sasha SloanLennon Stella, and the recently reunited legendary Pussycat Dolls, so anticipation for its release is growing by the minute.

Trainor has earned three top-five singles on the US Billboard Hot 100. Her debut studio album, Title (2015), debuted atop the US Billboard 200 and was certified Triple Platinum by the RIAA. Her second studio album, Thank You (2016), debuted at number three in the US and was certified Platinum in the country.

In a new interview with the New York Post, the star has also revealed that she is thrilled that her tracks are played all over the world, adding it "still makes her scream".

The 26-year-old said: "It still makes me scream and my knees go weak when I hear myself in the mall.

"CVS always plays 'Like I'm Gonna Lose You'. Like, all the time. I swear I'm on their playlist. And it rattles me, 'cause I love CVS!"

She also bravely opened up about a difficult time in her life that she went through:

"I went through a dark phase of panic attacks and when I crawled out of it, my therapist said, 'You should treat yourself, because what you accomplished and went through was hard - and you should remind yourself how badass you are.'"

Meghan Trainor's new album Treat Myself is out tomorrow, so there's not long to go now before you'll be able to listen to it in full, stream & buy it here.
