Nathan Sykes on most personal song on his debut solo album

Singer Nathan Sykes recently sat down with Most Requested Live for an in-depth and revealing interview and opened up about one song on his forthcoming debut album that is very personal. .

The chat ran for just over half an hour and towards the beginning, he explained that there's a track called 'Famous' that means a lot to him because he really bared his soul in the lyrics:

"I'd say a song called 'Famous' is most personal to me on the album, because it's something I'm very proud of on a writing front. I'm very proud of the way I've tried to balance it being a very personal story and telling the story, and also trying to make it as relatable as possible for people who don't know the story. It talks about the highs and lows of the music industry, I suppose."

"[...] People who are really only interested in you when you're at the peak of your career. At the same time - I ask the question of what have I got to do to make you care about me as much as I care about you. So I think balancing all that together in amongst the song... yeah, I'm very proud of that."
