Niall Horan: "I miss Busted"

One Direction star Niall Horan admits he "misses" British band Busted.

The pop rock band - consisting of members James Bourne, Matt Willis and Charlie Simpson - stormed the charts in the early Noughties thanks to hits including 'What I Go to School For', 'Year 3000' and 'Sleeping with the Light On'.

Horan took to Twitter today to reveal he misses Busted's chart presence after they disbanded in 2005.

He wrote: "Tuuuuuune ! Hooked back on busted! I miss busted (sic)", with an accompanying screen grab of Busted's 'Better Than This' on his iPod.

Olly Murs also weighed in on Busted's chart domination, adding his favourite songs from the band into the mix.

Replying directly to Horan's tweet, Murs wrote: "its all about '3am' Or 'sleeping with the light on' both tuuuuuuunes!! (sic)."

As previously reported, One Direction's Louis Tomlinson recently called on Busted to reunite and perform live.

Meanwhile, Horan and Harry Styles took to the social networking site to moan about being caught in traffic on the way to their London O2 Arena show.

While Horan wrote: "Stuck in traffic and need a wee bigtime," Styles thanked a fan for helping in his time of need.

"Thanks to the girl who gave me some unnamed potato snacks while we're stuck in traffic (sic)."
