Plan B to rock Jack Daniels' birthday gig with Christmas carol

Plan B has revealed that he plans to perform his own version of a popular Christmas carol at the forthcoming birthday celebrations of the late Jack Daniels.

The event will be held in Lynchburg, Tennessee next month on October 15 and is set to be headlined by the 'She Said' hitmaker. He told Digital Spy that although singing carols isn't seen as cool, he'd like to introduce party goers to his reworked version:

"We're looking to do 'In The Bleak Midwinter' that I did on the Jo Wiley show. I always said I'd never do a Christmas song. That's when you've gone pop."

"I just took the lyrics from the song and put a brand new melody and chord sequence to it. It sounds like a cross between James Brown and Stevie Wonder."

"I heard it's a dry state, which means they can't drink down there so I don't know how that's going to work. We're going to go there and I'm sure I'll have anopportunity to drink some rare... a rare bottle of Jack Daniels!"
