Red Hot Chili Peppers are the first act announced to perform live at this year's EMA in Belfast. 

Selena Gomez will be hosting this year's awards, which will be held in Belfast's Odyssey Arena on November 6. 

Red Hot Chili Peppers returned this year with their hit single, 'The Adventures Of Rain Dance Maggie' and their number one album, 'I'm With You', almost four years since their last release. 

The band that brought us 'Californication' are the first of many acts to be announced for the MTV EMA.
