Selena Gomez, who made headlines this week by kissing boyfriend Justin Bieber in public, is "depressed" as the final episode of 'Wizards of Waverly Place' draws closer. 

The 18-year old singer, actress and now designer has essentially grown up on the show, in which she plays the carefree character of Alex Russo, and tweeted about the end of its successful run:

"On behalf of my cast and myself, thank you for believing in our show for the past 5 years.. We are truly grateful and owe it all to you."

A fan also messaged her, saying "I'm gonna bawl my eyes out when wowp (Wizards) finishes" to which she replied, "me too". Last night, Gomez added:

"#3daysleft :( --depressed"
