Avril Lavigne says Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg is bullying Nickelback

Avril Lavigne has rushed to defend ex-husband Chad Kroeger's band Nickelback after Facebook creator Mark Zuckerberg joked about them in a recent video.

In the offending clip, Zuckerberg asks a robot named Jarvis to play him “some good Nickelback songs," to which the robot responds, “I’m sorry, Mark, I can’t do that. There are no good Nickelback songs.”

The 'Sk8er Boi' star posted a message on Twitter about the mean comments, which reads: "Dear Mark, many people use your products - some people love them and some people don't. Either way, you're allowed your musical opinion, however your jab at Nickelback is in poor taste."

She concluded: "When you have a voice like yours, you may want to consider being more responsible with promoting bullying, especially given what's going on in the world today."

She also hit out at E! News earlier this year for making fun of the band in an article entitled 'Poll reveals people actually dislike one thing more than the rock band' and shared the following message: "Grow up. This is extremely rude and uncalled for."
