Blur's Alex James: 'Taylor Swift has great tunes and she’s smoking hot'

Blur bassist Alex James has spoken out in praise of Taylor Swift.

Both acts are due to perform at the Barclaycard British Summertime series at London's Hyde Park in June.

Reformed Britpoppers Blur spoke to the Daily Mail about their own headline gig - but the topic shifted onto Swift.

James said: "She’s bigger than anyone ever and if you’ve got little girls you can’t resist The Swift.

"They’re great tunes, she’s smoking hot - what’s not to like?"

Guitarist Graham Coxon added that she is a "wholesome person with some classy opinions".

Damon Albarn meanwhile suggested that he would be happy to write songs for Swift.
