Damon Albarn carried off stage at Danish festival after five-hour show

Damon Albarn had to be carried off stage at Denmark's Roskilde Festival this weekend after playing a five-hour set.

The Blur singer was performing with his African Express project, but their show ran until 4am.

The Brit performed a version of The Clash's 'Should I Stay Or Should I Go' before encouraging the crowd to show their desire for the gig to continue.

However, the festival's stage manager was forced into hauling Albarn off the show over his shoulders.

The performance meanwhile saw cameos with the likes of Laura Mvula and Yeah Yeah Yeah's Nick Zinner.

Africa Express is a collaboration between African and Western musicians.
