Bruno Mars has confirmed that he has finished his new album.

The music maestro has been busy working away on the follow-up to his 2010 smash hit record 'Doo-Wops & Hooligans' over the past year.

In a series of Twitter messages posted online today (September 19), Mars confirmed that he has finally finished the album. He said:

"Over a year workin on it and now Im finally finished. My 2nd album is complete!!!!! Therefore IM THE MAN!!!"

He then posted a link to an amusing video entitled 'Whatta Man' which sees Mars in a number of different scenarios, including in the shower wearing a suit and saving a goldfish from a house fire.
