David Guetta expresses delight at No.1 track 'Titanium'

David Guetta has revealed that his chart topping track 'Titanium' didn't quite work out the way it was originally intended to be.

Speaking to the Daily Star, Guetta revealed that the vocal line on the track penned by Sia was actually intended for another singer - but the "emotion and quality" of her contribution meant that she was eventually picked for the track.

He also revealed his happiness at topping the UK singles chart at the weekend (February 5), proclaiming that the track is a "genuine club anthem". He said:

"When Sia wrote Titanium on my beat and laid the vocal it was intended to be for another singer. But the emotion and quality couldn't be beaten. To be No.1 with her is a special moment. She doesn't want to be the face of the record but her voice is more than enough. This song has been voted by arms in the air wherever I play worldwide. It's a genuine club anthem and top of the charts. Wow."
