Leona Lewis addresses plagiarism accusations over 'Collide'

Leona Lewis has cleared up allegations that her new single, 'Collide', was plagiarised from a track called 'Penguin' by DJ Avicii.

It emerged last week that Lewis' new single featured striking resemblances to the new DJ's instrumental club song and the X Factor star has taken the matter into her own hands to clarify that Avicii knew about her single and will receive a cut of the "publishing splits":

"With regards to my song, avicii was aware & agreeing publishing splits for himself and his manager. When avicii sent his track out to have a song written over it I totally fell in love with this version and i think he's super talented x"
